Awareness Creation
We regularly reach out to communities, collaborate with other Self Help Groups, Organizations, Factories, Government agencies and provide FREE cancer awareness sessions to motivate citizens to attend in Early Detection Field clinics.
Early Detection
We set up field clinics at various locations in Tamil Nadu & Kerala by collaborating with Governmental agencies / Private entities using their CSR funding, for early detection of cancer and screen citizens for 5 major types of cancers – oral, breast, cervical, colorectal lung and prostate cancers.
Diagnosis
With advancement of molecular diagnostic services with modern machines the diagnostic tools have become very advanced and we can detect cancer at stage 0 / 1. Early detection helps to keep the cost of treatment low, the intensity of treatment less thereby reducing morbidity.
Treatment
We have established a day care centre at Pollachi in Tamil Nadu and also partnered with ethically managed hospitals at several where we can refer the citizens for advanced treatment which cannot be handled at our facility.
Post Treatment Health Management
We also offer counselling to the patient on post treatment health management, life style modification, food habits and mental health management.
HPV Vaccination
We arrange vaccination for prevention of cervical cancer for children of the age 9-14 years. In collaboration with WHO / IARC ( International Agency for Research on Cancer ) we have been conducting research on cervical cancer vaccination for children of the age 9- 14 and studing the changes in the immunogenicity in them since 2006.
